But there are facts about Iran's climate that people little know. As Saeed mentioned, Iran is a four season country, moreover it has a wide variety of cultures. Unfortunately most people around the word think of Iran as a very hot country, but there are places in Iran that are as cold as coldest cities in the world, for example, average temperature in Ardabil, one of the cities located at the north west, is about 9 degree of Celsius. last summer i traveled there and to my amusement it was snowing!
