Kata Noi is a beach on the southwestern side of the island of Phuket in Thailand. It prolongs the Kata Beach to the south. The beach has crystal clear water, white soft sand and with a view of the small evergreen Poo Island in the distance.
It’s long been a popular spot for surfers in the monsoon season of May to October, though swimming can be dangerous during this period.
The southern end of the beach is also a good place for snorkeling, with lots of tropical fish swimming close to the beach at high tide. Has mostly rocks but also some corals the further out one swim.
Kata Noi Beach is one of the most relaxing places.
